As our developers are an intelligent crowd of internationals, our time for inter-conversation is cut short not only by the dreaded timezones, but also by the inherent lack of time we all experience as a consequence of higher education.

So for all intents and purposes, let me declare this thread the official developer agenda; tell us what you're working on right at this moment, give a deadline for it while you're at it, and maybe tell us about its benefits and consequences.

Maxstate:
I'm learning how to use the map editor. I have started creating the first map for the game. It will be a very simple cubic map with the default textures, serving as practice for later, more ambitious projects. My hope is to be able to share with you my progress very soon.

Otherwise I am still expanding the team. My e-mails rarely get answered anymore; most of my contacts are from the Jedi Academy range, who have long since moved on from their Star Wars-tinted email addresses.

Besides this, there's also some team organization going on. Razor Ace, yes, the Razor Ace has been kind enough to set up a repository for us in his own home. It is up to our programmers now to fully take advantage of this and start submitting whatever they've been working on. It's important to have full and proper communication between team members for them to know the team's collective capabilities; I'm sure the concept artists and graphics designers would appreciate a place to permanently store their work.

Sadly, Darthdie, our main programmer and pretty much co-leader, has suffered some real life setbacks and is trying to get to us as soon as possible. Another one of his siblings was diagnosed with diabetes. I have nothing more to say about this without his permission, but I'm completely certain he'll be back to tell the story in a couple of days at most.

Our modelers are making the most progress here - and I am happy that they are: our biggest obstacle at the moment is getting a playermodel in-game with animations to suit it. Again, remember that our modelers range from the UK, to South Africa and our main animator resides in Texas. Aside from this somewhat pessimistic outlook on the speed of the progress, I remain hopeful and do feel that there is forward motion.

Our concept artists are on their winter vacations, as is customary for their German nation. The same goes for our other programmer, Revolves, who is in the United States at the moment.

To re-iterate: I hope for all of our developers to gather in this thread and leave a small message for the community detailing their plans. I was always taught that communication is acceptation - and there is stagnation in progress to be accounted for.

Working on a tank right now - Turret is finished, currently working on the base and tracks. At the very least we can use it as an environment asset and later as a vehicle if we're using them. I'll be happy to do animations once the player model is finished. Will continue working on the guns once the tank is finished.

To the concept artists - keep sketching! Anything that comes to your mind that you think could be used as part of the game (guns, props, etc.). Sketch it down and post it on the forums, I can work with pretty much the most basic drawing.

DarthDie has told me that he's unable to see the Visual Studio project files in the Interference branch. I will investigate.

Myself, I'm working on improving the OJP autobuilder scripts to make the package creation easier.

I'm trying to reacquaint myself with my previous animation skills. Over the past months I really slacked off. To dust said skills off I'm updating the Apprentice animations for JA as well as trying to update the animations that were going into OJP and putting them into a SP OJP mini mod.

Also I should be graduated now and have begun job/career searching.

Interdisciplinary studies. A sort of general degree. I'm thinking of trying for a master's program once I get a little cash flow in.

I would suggest starting with seperating to few pk3, ojp_dll,ojp_effect,ojp_core etc... ive made similar script for my mod. Also made some improvements to server cfg and reay mapcycles for players.
