Could you export it to .OBJ or w/e so I can try to open it in mudbox? (And post it here so I can download it)
I got ZBrush now but from what I've read and seen so far ZBrush's painting isn't up to par with Mudbox' yet :p

I will as soon as I finish it.
Might want to PM any source files. This is a public forum section, after all. :3

If others steal it we will sue them for great amounts of money! Posting it here could serve as bait.

About the last one: honest opinion is that the arms and legs are now a bit too fat. They look like the armor that those outcast guys wore in fall out 3 - it gives a somewhat strange sense of scale to the guy's arms and legs. Just my opinion, I preferred the old arms.

Edges look a little too sharp but I think splashing some maps on it should solve the issue ;o.
You can either PM me the .obj helmet or post it here when you think it's ready. (Unless you want to try texturing / painting it yourself).

I say the helmet needs a bit more retro extravaganza. What about adding a few gas mask touches here and there?

There are no plans for poison gasses in-game; the technology is also sufficiently advanced that gas masks in our style will most likely be ancient history in terms of technology.

Well, I used smoothing groups to show off the edges. Here it is without any smoothing groups. All faces are less than 40 degrees to each other (it's smoothed in max with autosmooth set to 40)

We can always add more detail in the normal map. I'm thinking of importing it back into zbrush and sculpting some detail onto it which we can use to generate the map.
