well like i said before, modern menus usually have tiny-ass letters (and on the side) - this menu reminds of the old starcraft-era menus

not that it's a bad thing - the menu is easy to understand, unlike the modern ones

i love the background, even though europe/italy in the picture is kinda super-washed out - and the fact that the dark side of earth is somehow lit up

but otherwise very naic (thumbsup)

very nice look too it, but as Raz0r said it looks a bit distracting. Maybe make it fade to a solid colour around the main menu

the thing that bothers me the most about that picture is how the two lines around the menu are so 'solid' - perhaps you could try fading them out a small bit?
