Here is where I will post all of my WIP models for some feedback.
You all know the drill, constructive feedback only please or I'll drown you in tea.

This is the X-33 Widowmaker, some sort of pistol, name isn't final and neither is the model.

Futuristic M1 Garand - very happy how this is turning out, I love using bolt action rifles in games.

Very early stages of some sort of Revolver
Next I'll be working on some kind of assault rifle.

Oh, some high-poly models..perhaps they could do with some optimisations. We can always texture on the detail.

Important thing that we've finally got something to show, and we owe it all to the pioneers Tiberio and Ace. I'm very happy with these models. Hopefully Commander will show off his work of the various modeled weapon parts, as well.

nice! the widowmaker (cheesy name xd) reminds me of the dl-44
the m1 is obviously an m1, but it still feels futuristic (i bet after adding some 'futurey' textures it will look really futuristic) - is an awesome gun based off an awesome gun
the only thing is that that the trigger is missing from all of the guns - but i think that's easily rectified, no?
I've been adding some details onto the M1 (as well as the trigger lol) to make it look more futuristic. I'll redo the top gun to make it look less blocky and better optimized.

Redid the scope, added a trigger (early stage) and added some more details here and there.
My main question is should I keep the coil at the end of the gun? I really like the look of it, but some people think it looks a little stereotypical. I'll decide whether to scrap it based on community feedback.

Check it out, I redid the X-33 to make it look less blocky. Also added an ammo display with some buttons and the odd wire here and there.

a comment now that i think of it:
the assault rifle - its front part seems to be divided into two parts vertically, you've got the part the barrel is in and you've got the 'rail' that the scope and sights are mounted on. maybe you could make the rail smaller in size, cut its height/vertical size in half, then move up the part that holds the barrel?
Kay, well I've moved the laser sight to make it look more like laser sight. Added a bit of colour too and ~SEE THROUGH SCOPE~

The overhead image looked promising but the rest just scared me D:
In fact I wasn't sure if it was just some sort of oddly designed bin xd
Yeah I just need to cut down the sphere shape of it and add more details so it doesn't look like some sort of bobblehead.

I'd definitely get in touch with the concept artists and see what they've cooked up. Daniel was busy with some weapon sketches. Great timing of course as Alpha is about to make a tutorial on how to export/import into the engine ;p

I'm going to make (today or tomorrow) a video tut for the same shit though ;o
Been working on a Challenger 2 Tank for my uni course, I'm sure we could use it in the game too. Maybe as an environment asset.

Only done the turret part so far, still need to add detail for the bottom and do tank treads.
Update on the Challenger 2. Done a lot more work on it. Now with ~360 turnaround video~

Added a machine gun on top, more detail on the turret and the cannon, also started working on details for the main body.
Next up are the tank tracks.
I also ordered some really awesome Game Environment and Prop books for Maya, they're really handy. It even shows how to model a revolver, so I'll have a go at that.
